Silkscreen T-Shirt Printing Singapore
Silkscreen printing is well worth considering if you're looking for something cost-efficient and durable. Tried and tested, it's one of the oldest forms of cloth printing — dating back to the Song Dynasty in China — and it has been drastically refined over the years, especially with modern technology, to deliver quality prints every time.
Whether you're designing a corporate tee or school attire, the technique behind silkscreen lets simple designs be printed quickly — making it one of the most affordable options available.
Different types of silkscreen printing we offer
From vivid neon to sparkle, texture and glow, choose from a range of specialty silkscreen finishes to give your design a distinctive look.
Neon printing
Neon printing uses fluorescent ink. It's popular because it leaves highly vivid, bright designs that mimic the glow of neon lights. Our neon printing is available in colours like pink, green, yellow, orange and blue.
Glitter printing
Glitter printing is a decorative method that applies glitter particles to the surface, leaving a sparkling effect that adds a touch of glamour and uniqueness. Upgrade your t-shirt game and let your style shine bright.
Embossed printing
Embossed printing creates a 3D textured effect, adding depth and elegance and making your design literally stand out. It's the one to choose for a sophisticated, minimalist or high-end look.
Glow-in-the-dark printing
Glow-in-the-dark printing uses a special phosphorescent ink that absorbs the surrounding light and then emits a glow in the dark. Whether for practical purposes or just for fun, it's a creative way to make your designs shine.
Metallic printing
Metallic printing uses metallic gold or silver elements in your design. Metallic inks create a shiny, reflective effect that gives designs a polished, eye-catching finish.

Beautiful, crisp prints at amazingly affordable prices
Silkscreen is one of the most affordable options available because the cost of setting up the printing machinery is low. As you print a large quantity, that start-up cost is spread across every piece — making silkscreen wonderfully cost-efficient.
Fast, large-scale production
With the latest silkscreen technology, machines can print up to 2,000 t-shirts in under an hour. That saves on labour and brings down the overall printing cost.
Beautifully crisp prints
Thanks to the photo-emulsion technique, silkscreen delivers those clean, crisp prints every time.
Best for solid colours
Given its large-scale nature, silkscreen is best suited to designs in a few solid colours. It's more limited when it comes to gradients or highly complex artwork.
Ideal for simple, bulk orders
Consider silkscreen for more than 50 t-shirts with a simple design — three colours or fewer and no gradients — such as printing logos or company names.
Long-lasting and durable
Thanks to the durable ink we use, your t-shirt will on average last around five years, provided it's properly maintained — a print worth the investment.
Simple to care for
To keep your print looking its best, just machine wash with a mild detergent. Even after years of wear, the ink shows little to no fading or cracking.
A sneak peek behind the popular printing technique
Here's a quick glimpse of how we do silkscreen printing, so you can see the craft and time involved.
Create the stencil
We create a stencil from a high-quality image of at least 300 dpi. The image is printed onto a transparent overlay, and the printed areas mark the parts to be inked.
Coat the screen
A screen mesh is coated with a dried, light-sensitive emulsion.
Expose to UV light
We expose the screen to UV light. The exposed areas stay intact while the rest washes off, leaving a negative image on the stencil.
Flood with ink
We place the stencil on your t-shirt with the screen mesh on top, then flood the frame with ink.
Reveal the print
Finally, we lift everything off the t-shirt to reveal your finished print.

Common questions about silkscreen printing
Is silkscreen worth it for a small order?
Silkscreen is most cost-efficient in bulk, because the one-off cost of setting up the screens is spread across the whole run. We do print from 1 piece, but for a handful of pieces digital heat transfer or vinyl usually works out better.
Can you silkscreen on dri-fit and quick-dry fabric?
Yes — silkscreen works on dri-fit and quick-dry polyester as well as cotton. If you're after something cooling to wear, browse the dri-fit range and we'll match a print method to the fabric you pick.
How many colours can you silkscreen?
Each colour needs its own stencil, so silkscreen suits designs built from a few solid colours rather than gradients or photographic artwork. Specialty inks are available: neon, glitter, embossed, glow-in-the-dark, reflective and metallic.
What artwork file do you need?
Vector files print sharpest — .AI, .EPS, .PDF or .SVG. If you don't have a print-ready file, send whatever you have and we can redraw your logo for you.
